Etna's Path Forward
A new direction for Etna built on transparency, fairness, and community.

What is Etna’s Path Forward?
Etna’s Path Forward is a community-driven plan to make our township stronger, smarter, and fairer. It’s about moving beyond empty promises with real, trackable steps that put residents first.
Step 4: Small Business & Opportunity
Step 5: Accountability & Collaboration
My Core Commitments – With Actions
Transparency
Every resident deserves to know where money goes and how decisions are made.
Publish township financial reports online every quarter.
Create a TIF Transparency Tracker so residents can see exactly how tax dollars are diverted, where they can legally be used, and whether promises are being kept.
Fair Growth
Development should never come at the expense of schools, safety, or green space.
Require a public scorecard for every TIF showing what developers promised and whether they delivered.
Tie benefits to performance: jobs, school protection, roads, fire, and sheriff coverage. If businesses fall short, the benefits stop too.
Ensure school funding is protected and township services are prioritized before permits move forward.
Community Investment
Local businesses and working families are the backbone of Etna.
Launch a Communal Business Park in the new 120-acre park with affordable start-up space for local entrepreneurs.
Explore small business grants and tax relief for Etna-owned shops.
Collaboration
Good leadership means listening.
Hold monthly open forums where residents can ask questions directly on record.
Post a Day One Agenda so residents know exactly what I’ll push for in the first 90 days.
Why It Matters
For too long, residents have been told the right words but never shown the results. Etna’s Path Forward is different because every commitment has a clear action attached to it. If a leader can’t explain how they’ll deliver, then it’s just talk.
With this plan, residents will always be able to see what’s being done, measure progress, and hold me accountable.
Be Part of the Path Forward
Etna’s future isn’t written yet together, we can shape it.
