Step 1 - Transparency
Building trust starts with openness.
Why Transparency Matters
Progress in Etna can’t happen without trust. For too long, important financial details and development deals have been difficult sometimes impossible for residents to see. That lack of openness erodes confidence in leadership and leaves too many questions unanswered.
Transparency means putting everything on the table so residents know exactly where their money is going and how decisions are made.
My Commitments to Transparency
If elected as trustee, I will:
Publish quarterly township financial reports online so every resident has access to clear, up-to-date information.
Launch a TIF Transparency Tracker that shows where diverted tax dollars go and exactly how they’re used, including impacts on schools, roads, and safety services.
Hold monthly open forums where residents can ask questions on the record and get straight answers.
What This Means for You
No more hidden numbers.
No more vague answers about development deals.
No more guessing where your tax dollars end up.
With transparency, residents will always have the tools to hold leadership accountable and to see whether promises are being kept.
This is Step 1 Forward
Transparency is the foundation of Etna’s Path Forward. Without it, nothing else works. By starting here, we ensure every future step is built on trust and accountability.

“Transparency isn’t just my commitment it’s Etna’s right. Together, we can build trust that lasts.”
