Step 2 - Fair Growth
Development that benefits Etna, not just corporations.
Why Fair Growth Matters
Transparency opens the books. But once we know the truth, the next step is using that information to shape smarter choices. Etna is growing quickly, and with growth comes big decisions that affect our schools, safety services, infrastructure, and green space.
Etna deserves companies that are in it for the long haul. Fair Growth means building mutual relationships where businesses and the community grow alongside each other, creating lasting benefits that serve both residents and employers well into the future.
My Commitments to Fair Growth
If elected as trustee, I will push for:
Tie development to schools, safety, and infrastructure so growth directly benefits the people who live here.
Use a public scorecard so every resident can see whether developers are meeting their obligations.
Require contributions from developers before projects move forward schools, fire, sheriff, and roads must all be part of the deal.
Impose penalties when companies fail to meet their commitments, so Etna isn’t left holding the bag.
Protect green space by promoting responsible planning, cluster development, and smarter zoning.
What This Means for You
Development that strengthens schools and safety services instead of draining them.
Accountability tools that show exactly who is delivering and who is falling short.
Protection from companies looking for short-term benefits without long-term commitment.
A community that grows responsibly while keeping its character intact.
This is Step 2 Forward
Fair Growth ensures Etna’s future is built on real commitments, not empty promises. Transparency (Step 1) gives us the facts. Fair Growth (Step 2) ensures we use those facts to secure partnerships that last where businesses and residents both thrive.

“Fair Growth means businesses and residents move forward side by side. Together, we can ensure Etna grows responsibly.”
